VonZipper Warranty

PROOF OF PURCHASE MUST BE SUPPLIED TO VALIDATE WARRANTY

VonZipper sunglasses are constructed with the highest quality optical materials. Every VonZipper product is held to stringent quality control procedures to ensure that your VZ's will not let you down. We pride ourselves on the quality and technology that goes into every sunglass. VZ offers a lifetime guarantee against manufacturer's defects on all sunglasses and 6 months on all goggles. It is our pledge that your VonZipper experience is all that it can be.

This Warranty does not cover

  • common "wear and tear" issues for example, scratched lenses and/or cracked lens.
  • any damage caused by force, neglect or improper use such as dropping or smashing, etc.
  • unauthorized modifications or repairs, for example, frames with replacement lenses.

Please refer to below Eyewear Care and Goggle Care guides for details on how to best care for your VZ products. Chances are that if you're not following the guide, you may have voided your warranty.

EYEWEAR CARE

Caring for your sunglasses properly can extend the life of your frame and ensure that you are always Looking Good and Feeling Good.

  • Always clean your sunglasses by using a cleaner specifically developed for eyewear lenses, with a microfiber lens cleaning cloth or sunglass bag.
  • To avoid damage to the lens, DO NOT clean your glasses with t-shirts, paper towels or koala bears. These can grind dust and fibers into lenses leaving scratches.
  • Avoid using household detergents, soaps or glass cleaners, which are highly corrosive and can damage your lenses quickly.
  • Sunscreens and other lotions can also damage the paint and coating on the frame.
  • Additionally, avoid submerging frames under water since certain frames and coatings will corrode over time.
  • DO NOT place your sunglasses on the dashboard of your car. The extreme heat can distort the shape of your sunglasses.
  • When not wearing your glasses, never rest them face down on their lenses. Always keep them in their protective microfiber case or hard case. These will ensure that they will be in good shape the next time you reach for them.

GOGGLE CARE

All VonZipper goggles have a special lens coating.

  • Only clean your goggle lens by using a cleaner specifically developed for lenses with a microfiber lens cleaning cloth or goggle bag.
  • To avoid damage to the lens, DO NOT clean your goggles with t-shirts, paper towels or snow yetis. These can grind dust and fibers into lenses leaving scratches.
  • Avoid using household detergents, soaps or glass cleaners, which are highly corrosive and can damage your lenses quickly.
  • Sunscreen and other lotions can also damage the paint and coating on the lens and frame.
  • When you are not wearing your goggles, keep them in their protective microfiber case or hard case. This will ensure that they will be in good shape the next time you are ready to shred the pow.

GOGGLE LENS CHANGING INSTRUCTIONS

You must use care when changing the goggle lens. Make sure your hands are clean and dry when switching lenses. Do not change the lens while wearing gloves. This will scratch the lens.

Removing a lens

  • When removing the lens from the frame, hold the frame at the bottom and grab the top of the frame from the inside. Gently pull the top of the frame away from the lens.
  • Once the top of the frame is separated from the lens, gently pull the lens out of the sides and bottom of the frame.

Inserting a lens

  • Start by inserting the lens at the nose of the frame. Align the notch in the lens with the post in the frame. Make sure that the lens is lined up with the groove of the frame. Once the nose is lined up, push the lens onto the post.
  • Once the lens is inserted properly at the nose, continue inserting the lens into the groove along the bottom and sides of the frame. Make sure to push the lens completely into the groove of the frame.
  • Once the sides and bottom are in properly, you will finish at the top center of the frame by aligning the notch on the lens with the post at the top of the frame.
  • Finally check the lens to make sure that it is correctly set in the frame and you are ready to slash the pow!

All VonZipper snow lenses are pre-curved to fit the curve of the goggle frame. In order to maintain their shape, keep the lenses protected from flattening during travel, do not store the lenses flat and do not ride flat runs!
